The Robert R. McCormick Boys & Girls Club has been an anchor of hope, fun and stability in the lives of Chicago’s Uptown Community youth since 1958 with the support of the Robert R. McCormick Charitable Trust, Senator W. Russell Arrington, W. Clement Stone and area businesses and residents. The Club today serves 1,200 members annually and 250 members age 6-18 daily. The facility is one of the largest Clubs and features four exceptional programs not offered at any other Club location.
Over the years, McCormick has been a constant motivator in my life They (the staff) encouraged me to grab the many opportunities available with both hands. Their support continues to provide me with perspective on what is important in my life. I feel empowered to reach my goals without the fear of failure. I will always be grateful for the amazing experiences and opportunities I was blessed with because I was a McCormick Club member.
